Libya’s unity government forces are making good use of air raids as they target jihadists, but the jihadists have resorted to suicide bombings in their counter attack strategy.
The government forces commanders are working on new ways to eliminate the militants from the town.
The remaining Islamic State fighters are in an area around Sirte’s Ouagadougou conference complex and a nearby hospital, commanders of government forces say.
The Islamic state is also being targeted by the Iraqi government in the city of Fallujah and has been looking for ways to empower its Libyan branch.
